In 2001, our commitment to bringing the principles of employee-ownership to all aspects of our business earned Parametrix recognition as the Employee-owned Company of the Year.

In addition to the daily recognition of outstanding employee performance, each year Parametrix selects one Employee Owner of the Year who represents the firm at the National ESOP Conference in Washington, DC. Each fall, every office nominates and votes to select one employee owner to represent the respective office. The Employee Ownership Committee reviews the candidates from each office and selects one employee, which is announced at the Annual Corporate Party held in October.

The ESOP Trustees have fiduciary responsibility to act on the best interest of the trust and its beneficiaries (the employee owners of Parametrix). Three of the ESOP Trustees were selected by the Board of Directors, and one member was selected by the ESOP Committee and approved by the Board of Directors.
